Поэтому все идет, в общем, довольно правильным путем. Во всяком случае, логичным.
Не нужно думать, что протест и нонконформизм в России могут быть самодостаточны. Нужна огромная идеология просвещения, огромная пропаганда просвещения, программа избавления от дикости. Нужно появление того нового народа, народа в новом качестве, которым была советская интеллигенция и в который она постепенно превращалась. Нужна огромная борьба с мракобесием, обскурантизмом, сектантством, извращениями веры, нужно разоблачение лжи. То есть это огромная черная низовая работа.
Идеология просвещения, борьбы с обскурантизмом, с пещерным национализмом и так далее, которая стояла за практикой Советского Союза, она сегодня, в общем, ненавистна. Сегодня идет довольно сдержанная, но, безусловно, видная пропаганда национализма, беспрерывные поиски врагов.
Православие – исторический выбор России. А, вот, квазиправославие, милитаризованное православие, ксенофобия и государствобесие, как это назвал один умный священник, этому можно многое противопоставить. В частности, христианство. Христианство побеждало и не такие вещи. Сейчас кто-нибудь обязательно скажет, что я – мракобес, и верить надо в эволюцию. Если верить в эволюцию, тоже хорошо: все лучше, чем государствобесие, да? Хотя, как правильно, по-моему, заметил Андрей Кураев, а кто, собственно, сказал, что господь не мог создать эволюцию?
БЫКОВ: Это очень многое. Дело в том, что, понимаете, система – она лечит сама себя, когда ей дан толчок в правильном направлении. Стоит только сделать так, чтобы ГБ не была главной организацией в стране, как утверждает слушатель, и все, и прекрасно. Избавление от тайной полиции – это очень легкое и быстрое дело.
И потом не забывайте вот какую вещь. Россия, стоит ей дать вздохнуть, начинает делать очень много прекрасных вещей. Посмотрите, какой взлет литературы мы получили в 1860-е годы, какой взлет науки, да? На Менделеева до сих пор мир молится. Посмотрите, какой взрыв промышленности, какое стремительное – цитирую Ильича – развитие капитализма в России. Все это – последствие Александровских, половинчатых, незаконченных, осторожных реформ. И Россия, тем не менее, очень бурно развивалась.
Стоит показать людям перспективу, стоит дать им возможность творить и убрать этот постоянно душащий страх, который на всех как склизкая жаба висит, за горло держа, стоит этот страх убрать, как люди начнут все делать правильно.
